Dr. William T. Garrett received his undergraduate degree from University of Georgia in 1987. He completed medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in 1991. Following medical school Dr. Garrett completed his internship at Emory University in Atlanta in 1992. He completed his Neurology Resident Training at the University of Virginia, and then completed his Fellowship, also at University of Virginia in Movement disorders, Neuropharmacology and Neuropsychiatric Geriatric and EMG. Dr. Garrett has been in private practice in Savannah since 1999. He is married to Kelly Garrett has two daughters and a son.
