Savannah Neurology Specialists is conveniently located at 5356 Reynolds Street, Suite 300 of the Heart
and Lung Building on the Candler Hospital Campus and at 6602 Waters Avenue. Neurology is a field of medicine that
specializes in disorders and diseases of the brain. The disorders
we treat can be congenital (from birth) in nature, directly related to an accident or illness, or a result

treatment regimen, which is prepared after our initial assessment and testing, we can treat our patients
with medication, physical and occupational therapists, coordination with other specialty physicians for
possible surgery and follow-up. It is the goal of Savannah Neurology Specialists to provide the highest level of care
to our patients in a professional and friendly environment.

We accept most forms of insurance. However, since Neurology is considered to be a specialty more
often than not you will be required to obtain a referral from your primary care physician before
you can schedule an appointment with one of our physicians. Also, at the time of your initial visit
it may take up to thirty minutes to insure that your paperwork is completed and processed. In addition,
depending upon the type of visit you may be in the office for up to two hours.
Many of our patients, as part of their treatment regimen, are prescribed a variety of medications.
As a patient it is your responsibility to insure that your prescriptions, when needed, are refilled
on a timely basis. Therefore, we ask that if your prescription requires physician approval for a refill
that you contact our office five days before you will be out of the medication.
Our office is also very active in the field of Neurology research and has numerous active studies.
From time to time we will request public participation in these studies. If you feel that you meet
the criteria you may contact our office.
